To maintain complete safety and synergy out on the trails, I look for a few basics:

• Age & size: Dogs should generally be over one year old and fall into the medium-to-large bracket (roughly Blue Heeler size through to Shepherd size, though solid smaller breeds like Staffies fit in beautifully). Friendly, well-mannered giant breeds are absolutely welcome too!
• Behavior: Your dog should respond consistently to their name, have a manageable foundation for recall, and be polite around other dogs.
• Health: All pack members must be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and wear their WCC registration tag.
• Gear: For total safety during transport, all dogs must wear a well-fitted harness so they can be securely clipped into my vehicle.

Note: Dogs with severe handler aggression, problematic car behaviours, excessive barking or mobility issues are generally not suited.
